Hi,

I am working on this site for my friend, but it seems like your theme treats multiple page comics as an individual comic as it posts each page in the “Recent Comics” area.

As a flipside, I know you can just navigate through a comic using the next / previous pages, but then it also do not support multiple comics either.

Otherwise great theme and looking for to updates!

Nice and simple theme!
I’m using it to collect the xkcd translations I’m doing for another blog
Unfortunately I haven’t access to the ftp space, so I cannot edit strings (I lose my sight to search them via the backend lol)
I suggest as a further improvement a ‘random’ button to select a random comic and a way to translate rapidly your theme (some themes collect strings in a single file for istance).

Greetings GN,

I am hoping that you can help me with your incredibly-easy-to-use theme. I have assigned the comic category to all the relevant posts but the Theme is only picking up some of them as comics and assigning others to the blog category.

I noted that others have had this problem and it was a matter of assigning them to the correct “comic” category as well as entering that category ID into the WPComic admin panel which I have done but to no avail.

Would you be so kind as to look at the site greenleafadventures.com/wordpress and give me some guidance.

Hi Stacie,
The widescreen option is only for the comic pages. The regular posts will not be in widescreen mode.

Hi,

I just installed the theme and I’ve been playing around with it…I haven’t officially launched my site yet.

Problem, though: I’m checking the box to enable widescreen comics, but when I publish a post, it’s not widescreen. The 850px image is cut off, and all the menus are still on the right hand side.

Hi!
Right now I’m setting up a webcomic. It still doesn’t even have a name, but I have great projects for it. I really like WPComic so far, very simple and intuitive to use.

For some reason WPComic shows in the “Select a comic” old entries that do not exist. I’d like to know if I can remove them manually in some way?

Hi Riley,
The only way to add a background image would require you modify the css file and the header.php file. You see, the header file uses the admin settings to overwrite the css information. If you want, toy can send me a private message through the contact form and I’ll help you on this. I may also release a new version of WPComic that addresses this issue.

I’m working on a site at http://www.pptranger.us . I want to use an ACU pattern background for the site. How do I use an image for a background? I see where you let us change the color of the background, but I can’t find it in the html or the css.

I have encountered a bug with WPComic when I install social bookmarking plugins.

For comics, the social bookmarking buttons display in one row, as it should. But for blog posts, they display in a vertical column. I’ve tried several different plugins and I have the same problem with all of them, so I know it’s not a bug in the plugins.

Does anyone know how to fix this?
